About the Department
The Department of Systematic and Practical Theology is an operational division of the two theological disciplines.
Its activities cover a wide range of disciplines and topics in Protestant and universal theology:
Practical theology: homiletics, catechetics, poimenics, ecclesiology, ecclesiology, missiology, ecclesiology, church music, diaconia, stylistics, rhetoric, church leadership, church building, church law, foreign languages,
Systematic theology: dogmatics, ethics, symbolism, apologetics, theological lexicon, ecumenical theology,
The teaching activities of the department cover
- the teaching of theology,
- teaching catechetics
- teaching missiology, diaconia and social care.
Its activities are carried out at several levels:
- academic teaching
- research work
- participation in academic projects
- academic work in academic projects (research projects, research projects, academic textbooks)
- its staff actively participate in national and international scientific conferences.
- advisory - consultative role towards the Reformed Christian Church in Slovakia, which closely cooperates with the Faculty of Reformed Theology of Selye J University.
